I walked out of the classroom burnt out and broken.
After 12 years in mainstream education, leading classrooms, managing pastoral care, and supporting students and families, I left.
Not because I stopped believing in young people.
Because I couldn’t keep watching a system fail them.
The mental health crisis was already rising.
I saw anxiety, depression, self-harm, and shame hiding in plain sight.
I saw the self-esteem of the brightest kids in top schools plummet.
I saw creative kids labelled as lazy, difficult, or “not academic enough.”
School was never built for human souls.
It was built to produce workers.
And our teens are paying the price.
So I stopped trying to fix a broken system and started building something better.
SwitchedON is the movement I was born to lead.
I’m not here to offer motivational fluff.
I’m a mother. A mentor. A woman who has faced down her own darkness and sat with teenagers in theirs.
I’ve supported bright, vibrant and "successful" young people through suicidal ideation, eating disorders, identity struggles, and silent battles their parents didn’t even know they were fighting.
SwitchedON! is for them.
For the ones slipping through the cracks.
For the ones who are "doing all the things" but still don't feel good enough.
For the families being told to wait six months for help their child needs today.
Here, teens learn what school won’t teach:
emotional resilience, growth mindset, confidence, creativity and future skills that actually matter.

Teen Coaching is what every teen deserves to have.
It’s more than tutoring. It’s a lifeline.
Mindset training. Journalling prompts. Accountability check-ins.
Not filtered through bureaucracy but with a proven sytsem that works.
This is what I wish had existed when my own community lost a teenager.
It’s what I wish teens had access to when I was a teacher. And a mother.
Now it exists.

And we’re getting it into the hands of those who need it most. Teenagers themselves.
This isn’t just another brand. This is a movement.
SwitchedON is here to break the silence.
To train a new generation how to rise, not just with grades, but with grit, heart and self-trust.
And yes, it’s deeply personal.
But this isn’t just my story.
It’s the story of every teenager who’s ever felt like they don’t belong.
And every parent who’s said:
“I don’t know what to do… but I’ll do anything.”
If that’s you, then you’re in the right place.
